Kilburn Joinery’s story began in 1925, when Eric, a humble timber merchant with a deep passion for fine joinery, founded the business that would become a family legacy spanning generations. His dedication to quality and precision was later carried on by his sons, Rex and Ken, who continued to uphold his values and expand the business. Growing up in their grandfather’s workshop, David and Paul learned the trade from their father and uncle, surrounded by the scent of timber and the rhythm of saws and chisels. From a young age, they absorbed the principles of hard work, care, and attention to detail that have defined Kilburn Joinery since its beginning.

Today, David and Paul proudly continue Eric’s legacy — combining traditional techniques with modern innovation to craft timber windows and doors that embody nearly a century of family dedication, skill, and enduring quality. Our factory and offices are located in Moorabbin, where every stage of production takes place on-site. From material selection and machining to construction, glazing, and finishing, we personally oversee each process to ensure the highest standards of quality and care.
